Celebrating the Lord's faithfulness over the last 14 weeks
“Oh no. We have to raise support?”When we originally found out we would need to raise support to do campus ministry full-time, we were anything but excited. Now, 14 weeks later, we could not be more grateful for the experience.
The Lord has used this season of support-raising to humble, strengthen, and encourage us.
We were humbled as we saw that this was not something we could do on our own, but that we must trust the Lord to accomplish this God-sized task. It seems kind of crazy to quit good jobs in a bad economy to ask people for money, but our God is more powerful than hard economic times!
We were strengthened in our faith as we saw the Lord work through His people often in surprising and amazing ways. The Lord provided support for us from some unexpected places.
We were encouraged by all the opportunities we had through the support-raising process to meet, talk, and pray with other believers.
Overall, the Lord has blown us away with His provision. We are excited to see what God has in store for this coming school year.
